WELCOME
Several years ago, Pastor Rush and I discussed the vision of having a Christian school in our church ministry. With much preparation, planning and prayer, the vision has finally manifested! The due season to open the doors of the IBOC Children's "College" (now known as the Mary L. Rush Children's College) was Spring of 2000 and the Christian Academy, Fall Semester of 2001. To God Be All The Glory!
I was recently asked why we wanted to start a Christian school. The starting of the school, like the birthing of our church ministry, came about simply because it was God's will that we do so! We required more than just a school with a Christian name. We have a school that acknowledges God in all areas of its operation and that is in line with principles taught in the Word of God.
We are a school that embraces the traditional philosophy of education believing that children need discipline and self control, that both morally and academically high standards for our students be maintained, and foremost that we train children for the Lord, not for the world!
The administration, faculty and student body are very proud and honored that God has chosen us to be a part of His unique vision! Welcome to the IBOC Christian Academy and Children's College web page!
Joyfully,
Julia Fuller, Administrator of Schools

Mission Statement
To provide academic excellence and spiritual enrichment for each student, assisting them to become productive and responsible citizens.
Philosophy
We believe learning in the elementary grades is fundamental and imperative to the students' successful functioning throughout their education career. We believe all students can learn if given the proper resources, instruction, assistance and time-on-task. We are committed to each student, offering the best education possible. We believe Godly principles incorporated with extremely high expectations and basic foundations for learning will assist in producing spiritually balanced, academically abreast, emotionally sound individuals, capable of overcoming a world of challenges.
Curriculum
We utilize the Abeka Curriculum in our school. Our programs are designed to help children reach their fullest potential. Our curriculum provides lessons that help develop the whole child: physically, spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
